PictureSt. Thomas Aquinas
  • Are you ready to go beyond the surface conversation?
  • Do you want something more than a social group?
  • Serious about deepening your relationship with Jesus but are busy and just can’t commit to a formal study program?
  • Do you want to start the climb up God’s Holy Mountain with serious people and with the Church Doctors and Fathers as our guides?

We have “Formed” a group for you!  St. Thomas Aquinas said to be a Saint you must “will it”. Saints are not perfect people, just determined in their climb up the rocky, steep, thorny mountain. Moving beyond the surface, we use the Bible, the Catechism and our personal testimony to reveal God’s personal relationship for each of us through the writings of the Saints. “Will it” and grow your holiness, moving closer to God with us!

What is Saint Formation?
Our Mission:  Assisting focused people in forming an intentional spirit to begin climbing the Holy Mountain with the Saints as our Guides.
What We Believe:  We believe the example of the Saints’ lives and writings illuminate our faith and how we should live today.
What We Do:  We enrich our minds and souls  with a deepened understanding, knowledge and wisdom of our Faith, the Word, and Traditions through the Church Doctors’ & Fathers’ writings.  We open ourselves to receiving Christ and His Gifts.
What are Meetings Like?
  • We meet in person for those in the local area and virtually for our distant participants through MS TEAMS (click here for MS TEAMS instructions). Call or email Wade Feller (719-332-0414) to be added to the email meeting announcement list.
  • Free and online available readings are sent out in advance with some “primer questions” that are designed to help get the conversation started and allow participants to start thinking about the subject.
  • Next we dive into our leader-guided seminar format, exploring each precious paragraph looking for deeper nuggets of spiritual and practical food that point us to Holy Scripture or the Catechism (our Traditions)— asking God to raise our souls up His Holy Mountain.
  • Everyone is given the opportunity to share their reflections or to just listen to others. This is the central focus of each meeting.
  • Everyone is given the opportunity to share their reflections or to just listen to others. This is the central focus of each meeting.
  • We have a light breakfast and coffee to share (free as well).
