Romans: The Gospel of Salvation - STUDY IS FULL AND NO LONGER ACCEPTING REGISTRATIONS
Bible study offered Wednesdays from September 27 – December 13
at 1–3pm in the Parish Ministry Center.
Paul’s letter to the Romans has been at the center of reflection, conversion, and controversy from the very beginning. This Bible study will help to make sense of the difficult passages regarding faith, works of the law and justification. Participants will meet every week for fellowship and group discussion followed by a video presentation by Dr. Andrew Swafford and Jeff Cavins.

The Prophets: Messengers of God’s Mercy
Bible study offered Wednesdays, September 27 – December 6, 6:30–8:30pm in the Parish Ministry Center.
God sent prophets at critical times to call the people back to their covenant relationship with him. Prophets proclaimed the consequences of continued sin, called people to repentance, and declared God’s faithful love. They also spoke of the future to shed light on current events and to reveal God’s plans and purposes. Discover how God is constantly calling you to a deeper relationship with him, as well as the ways you are called to be the voice of God to others.

Saint Formation (formerly Practical Catholicism) is for Catholics who seek to grow in fellowship and faith through practical application of the gifts of knowledge, understanding and good counsel. The group investigates original Catholic texts in “bite-sized” portions so they can be discussed and explored during our two-hour meetings. Families of Nazareth Faith Sharing Group
This ministry provides an opportunity to look at everyday experiences through the eyes of faith, to see more clearly God's presence and loving action in each moment. Meetings are currently suspended, but anyone interested is encouraged to contact Julie Bailey by email or call 719-434-1066. In general, meetings are one-hour and include spiritual reading, catechism reference, Sunday Mass scripture reflection, meditative questions and faith sharing.
Praying Prodigals Home Prayer Group
The group meets to pray together and give mutual support to St. Peter parishioners looking to bring family members and loved ones back to practicing the Catholic faith. The group meets on the 2nd. Sunday of each month at 3:30 (before the 5pm Mass) in the large conference room. For more information, contact Mary Parrish (719-900-7420 or parrishmar@aol.com).
