Dynamic Catholic Bible Study - Turning Point
Turning Point meets in the large conference room on Wednesdays, 12-2pm. This Dynamic Catholic study will help us understand Christ through the people in the Gospel of John. With engaging videos and a thought-provoking workbook, this nine-week study will help us develop a truly meaningful relationship with Jesus. Join us and see how Jesus was a turning point in the lives of so many people! For more information, contact Melissa Smith (719-481-3511).
Wednesday Bible Study
Begin a beautiful weekly tradition of preparing your heart for God’s word. You are invited to join the Wednesday Morning Bible Study in the large conference room at 8:45am, every week, to read and discuss the upcoming Readings, Psalm, and Gospel for Sunday's Mass. We use the Workbooks for Lectors and Proclaimers of the Word, which has great commentaries for each reading. To learn more, contact Barbara Brown (719-650-1422) or Stephanie Kemp (719-481-4355). (Please note: this group takes a break during the summer months.)
Praying Prodigals Home Prayer Group
The group meets to pray together and give mutual support to St. Peter parishioners looking to bring family members and loved ones back to practicing the Catholic faith. The group meets the first Sunday of the month at 4pm in the large conference room.
Families of Nazareth Faith Sharing Group
This group meets on Mondays at 2pm. This small group provides an opportunity to look at everyday experiences through the eyes of faith, to see more clearly God's presence and loving action in each moment. All are welcome!
The members of the Families of Nazareth Ministry have a basket of books, movies and prayer aides to give you what you need to immerse yourself in Divine Mercy, and discover where you fit into this Year of Mercy. If you would like to borrow the basket for a week or two, or learn more about this ministry, contact Julie Bailey by email or call 719-434-1066.
Practical Catholicism is for Catholics who seek to grow in fellowship and faith through practical application of the gifts of knowledge, understanding and good counsel. The group investigates original Catholic texts in “bite-sized” portions so they can be discussed and explored during our two-hour meetings.
