Roger Mueller, District Master for the Colorado Knights of Columbus State Council presents Bob Leise, Past Faithful Navigator for St. Peter Knights of Columbus Assembly #2594 with the STAR ASSEMBLY AWARD. Roger Mueller emphasized that in Colorado there are 54 Assemblies and only 4 Assemblies in the state achieved the STAR ASSEMBLY AWARD.
Knights of Columbus Council 11514, St Peter Catholic Church, was chartered under the Supreme Council in 1995 at the behest of Rev. Fr. Robert (Bob) E. Jaeger, Pastor of St. Peter Catholic Church, Monument, Colorado. Jim Taylor was the council's first grand knight. The council is involved in many activities that promote the welfare of the parish, community, family, and charitable causes.

Newly ordained Deacon Michael Crocker is all smiles after receiving a gift stole from Council 11514 on Sunday, June 21, 2020. Deacon Michael is a 4th degree Knight and was one of 19 men ordained at St. Dominic’s Church in Security on June 20, 2020. St. Peter Knights provided an honor guard for the Memorial Day ceremonies at the Monument cemetery honoring over 100 deceased veterans interred there. Students, teachers and 4th degree Knights during the flag raising ceremony after the St. Peter school Mass. This will be a monthly affair followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and singing of the National Anthem.
On March 19, Bob Leise presented awards to St. Peter School students who won and placed in the 4th Degree Speech Contest. Awards were presented to the following students:
6th grade: 1st place - John Paul Maksymowitz , 2nd place - Dylan Payne, 3rd place - Jack Meifert.
7th grade: 1st place - Madeline Sanderson, 2nd place - Emily Sauley, 3rd place - Victoria Recker.
8th grade: 1st place - Peyton Priddy, 2nd place - Addisyn Sopczak, 3rd place - Dominick Cuccinelli.

Knights to the rescue!
For the fifth year in a row, members of Council 11514 responded when a resident needed assistance. A home-bound woman was in dire need of yard work and to the rescue rode Knights Al Castinado, Carl Anderson and Rob Hoette.

Congratulations to St. Peter student Maeve Salverson who placed 3rd in the Colorado State Free Throw Contest held on March 24, 2018, at Holy Family High School in Broomfield.

Faithful Navigator of the St. Peter’s K of C Fourth Degree Patriotic Assembly, Bob Leise, displays the hard-won Patriot Award trophy to parishioners given to only the top three Assemblies nationwide and attests to his leadership.

Happy 100th Birthday, Earl Depner!
Earl Depner reads the certificate from Pope Francis extending wishes for a blessed 100th birthday at a celebration which was hosted by the Knights of Columbus on November 11, 2017. Earl was also a Knight for 80 years. As it was presented by Grand Knight Dave McCloy, he joked with Earl and said there was a post-script stating that Earl’s time in Purgatory was forgiven.
