Tapping into Theology
February 14 Tapping into Theology
7pm Join Sister Rose Ann Barmann from the Benet Hill Monastery for a talk on "Reverencing Human Life at All Stages," with a focus on the Bakhita Mountain Home. The Benedictine Sisters were instrumental in starting up this special, rent-free refuge for adult sex- trafficked women in the Pikes Peak area that helps survivors transition to self-sufficiency and successful reintegration into society. All are welcome. The group meets in the PMC. To RSVP, contact stephanierkemp@gmail.com or 719-481-4355. An RSVP for planning refreshments is much appreciated. |

Tapping into Theology began in January 2013 in response to the Holy Father’s call to spread the Gospel during “The Year of Faith," -- in this case, outside the walls of church. Tapping into Theology meets in the Parish Ministry Center. We gather on the second Tuesday of the month from 7-9pm, unless otherwise noted.
Every month there is a different speaker. We have had bishops, priests, deacons, laity from throughout the diocese, and parishioners presenting on various theology-related topics. We hope that the presentations help all who attend or listen to the recordings become more engaged in their faith and lead to a deeper relationship with God.
There is no homework, but sometimes there are handouts or suggested reading. Attendance averages 60-80 people each month.
