The Friend family, Larry, Maribeth and Lexie was chosen as the Family of the Month for August. Although Larry is not a Knight of Columbus, the Council felt this family deserved the award for their involvement in church and community activities. Larry is a Eucharistic Minister of Holy Communion to the homebound and regularly distributes Holy Communion to residents in area nursing and assisted living homes. Mary Beth is in St. Peter’s choir as a member and as a cantor. Lexie was a faithful altar server for years and now is indispensable helping with Council fundraisers.
