What is Lent? Lent is the annual season of preparation for the Most Holy of all Seasons in the Church, Easter. It begins on Ash Wednesday and ends on Holy Thursday evening, when the Triduum begins.

For the 2025 St. Peter almsgiving project, we will collect donations for the Mundakayam Medical Trust (MMT) Hospital in Kerala, India. Opened in 1965 by the Medical Mission Sisters, the MMT provides healthcare for mothers and babies in rural and underserved communities. Donations from St. Peter will be used to buy 24 neonatal ICU beds at a cost of $2,500 each. You may pick up brown pouches in the vestibule area or church office to collect your almsgiving donations throughout the season of Lent. Please return the brown pouch with your donation by Easter Sunday. There will be a collection basket in the gathering area. Lenten Suggestions
