Walking with God: A time for Prayer, Growth, and Health

The purpose of the Saint Peter Walk to Jerusalem is to make a virtual pilgrimage to Jerusalem as a Lenten devotion. A pilgrimage is a journey, especially a long one, made to some sacred place as an act of religious devotion. May you use this virtual pilgrimage to focus on your own spiritual needs and, in this process, achieve health benefits from the program (physically, mentally, and spiritually).

Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.
                                                                                     –3 John 1

I choose to walk in Your counsel, dear Lord. I delight myself in You and meditate on Your Word. I am like a tree planted by the rivers of water. My life will yield spiritual fruit in its season, I will not wither in the dry times, and whatever I do will prosper.
–Prayer adapted from Psalm 1:2-3 by Charles F. Stanley

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; my cup overflows.
                                                                                    –Psalm 23:4-5
