Organization/Ministry Description
Health and Healing The objectives of the Health and Healing ministry include promotion and support of health and healing among the members of the Saint Peter’s church community through health education, referral, and spiritual support.
Homebound Eucharist Trained Eucharistic Ministers take communion to those parishioners unable to attend Mass due to chronic illness, recent surgery, or for those on chemotherapy. We are always looking for more people willing to take Communion to those who are sick or homebound.
Hospital Trained Eucharistic Ministers take communion to Catholic patients in Memorial North Hospital. We welcome more people willing to take Communion to those who are hospitalized. Call 481-8942 for more information.
Knights Of Columbus Founded on the principles of charity, unity, and fraternity, membership is open to practicing Catholic men, 18 years and older. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, and public relief works as it serves our Catholic Church, community, families, and young people.
Life Support Center Layettes Ladies of the Women’s Guild create the baby layettes which are donated each month to the Catholic Charities Life Support Center.
Little Lambs A pay as you go “Moms day out” program for mothers of young children which provides loving care for children 1-4 years old available three mornings a week during the school year in a safe parish environment.
Marian House Collection Basket Items such as small toiletries and other needed items are collected in the parish to be delivered to those served by the Catholic Charities Marian House.
Marian House Soup Kitchen Marian House Soup Kitchen Ministry is a partnership between Saint Peter Catholic Church and Catholic Charities to provide a hot Sunday morning breakfast to those in need. Parishioners are invited to join the all-volunteer kitchen crew preparing the meal on the second Sunday of each month.
Meals to Those in Need Volunteers bring Christ to others in their times of trial and difficulty by providing home cooked meals for parish families welcoming new babies, those who are homebound, suffering loss, or facing other life challenges.
Music Music is an essential part of the Mass. We have choirs for all ages:

  • Adult Choir: Members practice together then sing during Saturday evening and Sunday morning Masses.
  • Youth Choir: Youth grades 7-12 sing slightly more contemporary worship music at the Sunday night Mass.
  • Senior Believers Choir: Children grades 3 through 6 lead the music at designated Masses during the school year.
  • Young Believers Choir: Children of ages 5 through grade 2 perform at several Masses during the school year.
