This study meets in Room 206 in the Parish School from 9:15 -10:15 and uses the Great Adventure “A Journey Through the Bible.”

“The Great Adventure: A Journey Through the Bible” is a learning system that teaches the narrative story of the Bible so you can understand the plan of salvation history. We will read through the Bible historically while learning the plan of salvation history.

The Bible Timeline Chart arranges the key people and events of salvation history in chronological order and shows how the books of the Bible fit together to tell the story. People who go through the course learn the “ Big Picture” of salvation history and are taught how to:

1. Divide salvation history into 12 identifiable periods.

2. Identify the 14 narrative books of the Bible, in order to read the story from start to finish, and see how the remaining 59 books fit into the story.

3. Recognize how God’s plan unfolded through a series of covenants.
