The Saint Peter Adult Religious Education program mission is to serve adult members of the parish by providing enriching opportunities in which people can explore a deeper understanding of the Church teachings and religious topics, be enlivened in their faith, and be renewed in their spiritual life as we encourage life-long growing in one’s personal relationship with God. See also the Saint Peter Bible Study webpage.

| Program | Description |
| Beginning Apologetics; The End Times | The class includes study on what Catholics believe about the second coming, the rapture, Heaven, Hell, Purgatory and indulgences. The series is written by Fr. Frank Chacon and Jim Burnham and is published by San Juan Catholic Seminars. The class is an “open discussion forum,” not a lecture series. All questions are accepted, all opinions heard and all arguments made are weighed against the teachings of the Church. In this class we will be comparing Fundamentalists views from popular books like the ‘Left Behind” series and false predictions of the end of the world with the Magiteriumteachings. We usually have coffee, tea, doughnuts and homemade morsels during class as further persuasion to join in. A limited supply of text booklets are available but not required for the class. Held in Room 108 of the Saint Peter School. Contact Pete Derbort for more information through the Parish Office. |
| The Bible Timeline | This 23-lesson study walks you through the entire story of the Bible, from the creation of the world through the establishment of the Catholic Church and beyond. Each student receives a Study Kit that includes questions, responses, maps, charts, and diagrams that are necessary to complete the study. Please note: This is a two-hour class running from 9:15-11:15 a.m. and is held in Room 206 of the Saint Peter School. Those attending must go to Mass other than 10:30. Contact Cathy Smith for more information through the Parish Office. |

Meets Fridays from 9 – 10am starting Feb 24. For more information, contact Amy Rudnicki at 719-650-6198, or afmcgowan@hotmail.com. |
