Adult Faith Formation, Prayer Groups, Faith Sharing
Thursday Afternoon Bible Study, 12:30pm
Meet in the large conference room for a study of Matthew: The King and His Kingdom by Jeff Cavins. For more information, contact Melissa Smith.
St. Peter's Men's Group
The St. Peter Men's Group meets on the first and third Sundays of each month in the Lecture Hall after the 5:30pm Mass. This group provides an opportunity for men in our parish to grow in their faith and relationship with God; strengthen and build up each other in fellowship; learn more about the Catholic faith; and become better husbands, fathers and male role models. This is not a bible study but we will read and learn from scripture. There is no commitment, come when you can.
The group will resume meeting on Sunday, September 18. Please join us for pizza and beer and bring your ideas about what this group can be for you and our church. For more information, contact Don Wilson at email@example.com.
Praying Prodigals Home Prayer Group
The group meets to pray together and give mutual support to St. Peter parishioners looking to bring family members and loved ones back to practicing the Catholic faith. The group meets the first Sunday of the month at 4 pm in the large conference room.
Families of Nazareth Faith Sharing Group
This group meets on Mondays at 2pm. This small group provides an opportunity to look at everyday experiences through the eyes of faith, to see more clearly God's presence and loving action in each moment. All are welcome!
The members of the Families of Nazareth Ministry have a basket of books, movies and prayer aides to give you what you need to immerse yourself in Divine Mercy, and discover where you fit into this Year of Mercy. If you would like to borrow the basket for a week or two, or learn more about this ministry, contact Julie Bailey by email or call 719-434-1066.
Prayer in the Park
Our Lady of Guadalupe’s Prayer in the Park is held at 7pm on Thursdays at Limbach Park as weather permits. Prayer lasts about 45 minutes and is centered on the Rosary with short Scriptural references at the beginning of each decade. You do not have to have any experience praying the Rosary to attend. Rosaries are available. Young, old, and everyone in between are invited! Come, pray with your neighbor.
